Privacy notice
How Apollo Cybersecurity Ltd, trading as APOLLOSEC, uses personal data collected through this website.
Who we are
Apollo Cybersecurity Ltd (“APOLLOSEC”, “we”) is the controller of personal data collected through apollo-sec.com. We are a company registered in England and Wales, number 14870184, with our registered office at 74 High Street, Fishguard SA65 9AU. You can contact us about privacy at info@apollo-sec.com.
What we collect and why
- Enquiries. When you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, organisation and message, so we can reply and, if you ask us to, scope and deliver work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- Savount briefing. If you join the briefing, we collect your email address to send you Savount. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the link in every email.
- Website usage. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. Our hosting provider also processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting and security provider may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site and forms from abuse. These do not track you across other websites.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers to run the website and our email:
- Cloudflare, for website hosting, security, form spam protection and cookieless analytics.
- Brevo, to deliver contact form messages to our inbox and to send the Savount briefing.
- Google Workspace, for our email.
They process data on our behalf under contract. Some of them may process data outside the UK, in which case they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and for up to two years afterwards if no work follows, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Client records are kept for as long as our contracts and the law require. Briefing subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To use any of these rights, email info@apollo-sec.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Client data
Personal data we process while delivering services, such as testing a client’s systems, is covered by our contract with that client, not by this notice.
Changes
We will update this notice when our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top.
